Support

We work collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals to provide consistent, practical support.

Our Services

For Families

The Assessments

We provide autism, social communication, speech and language, ADHD and cognitive assessments, diagnostic reports, individual therapy and education support plans.

Autism / ADHD Diagnosis

Our diagnostic assessments and reports follow the NICE guidelines (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) and pioneering research using international standard instruments.

Guidance for a young person

Everyone has an individual profile, and the assessment is a way of understanding the person’s strengths and needs to better understand and support them.

Video Assessments

Advanced video analysis has improved the accuracy of assessments, contributing to an individual profile, diagnosis, personal plan and intervention.

Therapy

The therapist helps children and young people with a range of social-emotional, communication, interaction, and learning needs.

We provide expert independent medico-legal assessments and reports that adhere to the NICE guidelines.

Our Services

For Schools

Support for Schools

We help schools deliver early support and reasonable adjustment and gain evidence to complete the APDR (Assess Plan Do Review) framework to contribute to the individual child profile.

Special Educational Services

We provide expert support to schools in meeting the needs of children and young people with specialist educational needs (SEN).

PACT

PACT works to understand, nurture and respond positively to the development and communication needs of neurodivergent and autistic children.

The principles of our approaches are natural and easy to embed into daily life to make changes to foster the best supportive environment. ‘Less is more’ is a key principle of individualised intervention.

We’re also extremely grateful to Darren and Lisa McHugh, who generously donated the free use of the Roundway Centre therapy room as their contribution to helping children and families who seek professional support from Roundway Centre

We’ve had a really good experience from you and the Roundway centre

We’ve had a really good experience from you and the Roundway centre, we’ve learned so much more about our son and how we can support him. We’ve sent this report as part of his EHCP application and we hope to get him some additional support in school for when he moves to Y1 in September. Parent, February 2025.

We are so grateful for your time and our great session today.

We are so grateful for your time and our great session today. I have to say that your assessment and your work ethics were incredible. We felt at ease during the whole process and didn’t really realise that 2 hours had passed just like that. We are delighted that our son felt at ease as well and he managed to go through the whole process, keeping up at his own pace. Parent, Feb 2025

As a family, we felt stuck on long NHS waiting lists for professional appointments.

As a family, we felt stuck on long NHS waiting lists for professional appointments and were frequently told that the services we desperately needed for our son, were overwhelmed. We were struggling to get answers about our son’s needs and the support he needed so when we found The Roundway Centre, it felt like gold dust. The centre has supported us as a family to understand our child’s needs in a thoughtful and caring way. The detailed report we received after his assessment will be important for us to get the early intervention and support he needs. I can’t recommend The Roundway Centre enough, it’s the best money we’ve spent. Parent
